English with Creative Writing BA (Hons)

On both English degrees you will study a range of core literature and language modules in years one and two, with a range of optional modules in your final year. Students taking the major/minor BA English with Creative Writing will devote two thirds of their time to the area of English and one third to creative writing. They are required to take four additional subjects on top of those taken in English Language and Literature BA: Beginning Creative Writing (Year 1), Performance Writing (Year 2), Prose and Poetry Writing (Year 2), and Advanced Writing Practice (Year 3).
