Bsc (Hons) in Information Technology with Specialism in Information System Security

The IT degree and all of its specialisms have similar modules in Year 1. In Year 2, specific skills related to Information Systems Security are enhanced, analysis and design skills are developed, while your programming skills are sharpened. After the completion of Year 2, students will undertake a short Internship / Industrial Training. Finally, specific information systems security environments are covered to provide a thorough understanding of how information systems security supports modern organisational activity. General personal and professional development is enhanced for students to generate new ideas and create new products.

Bsc (Hons) in Information Technology with Specialism in Database Administration

The IT degree and all of its specialisms have similar modules in Year 1. Further in-depth analysis, design skills and specific computing skills are developed at Year 2. You will also have a thorough understanding of how IT supports modern organisational activity. After the completion of Year 2, students will undertake a short Internship / Industrial Training. Finally, in Year 3 you will learn the advanced computing skills required to take advantage of enterprise databases and ensure that you have the technical skills necessary to evaluate, design, configure, and maintain the data management infrastructure.

The IT degree and all of its specialisms have similar modules in Year 1.
